Why Poetry?

Scrabble board with words like disabled, invisible, language, and create.

My Language Is A Puzzle

Logic +/- Emotions ~ Language

Hands cutting and shaping metal and wood for a cornice mold and horse blade.

My Writing Roots

I was never a poet. I was in construction and wrote grants and plastering lessons, among others.

A collection of educational puzzle books and a notebook with handwritten notes.

My Style

As a survivor of a heart attack and stroke, Aphasia stole my identity and language. I started to say rhyming words. It was so hard but I was fascinated in rebuilding my life through poems.
